energy drinks and food bars importance information

energy drinks and food bars importance information
There is a lot of conflicting controversial information regarding energy drinks and food bars that has become apparent in recent years. There are many claims of health risks as well as many who swear by them. There are several energy drinks that have been either banned or regulated in various places. Here you will see a couple of facts regarding which ones really are and are not healthy for you to use.
Endurance is among the top reason many people use these products. There are studies that show hydration as a major concern during exercise which makes water the perfect beverage. As you may have realized many of the things found in energy drinks that give you that "boost" albeit short term can also have a crashing effect on you later. If weight loss is your goal but you need the extra energy for your workout, try to find one with no added sugar.
Energy bars and "diet" food bars are often used as meal substitutes by those who are on diets. While many of these bars do have fewer calories that many meals are not usually healthy calories, most of them contain sugar and artificial ingredients. Of course this means that you aren't getting essential fibers and those healthy fats if you're eating so many of these bars rather than meals in general. Do not be deceived by these bars that may be nothing more than a candy bar with a dieters delight name.
Many of these bars are well known for the amount of sugar they contain but you might be shocked by how many of them also contain disguised sugars. A popular swam used most often today and so linked to many healthy problems is high fructose corn syrup. This is not a product you want to tangle with if your goal is weight loss. Another sweetener that has recently been outed as high in fructose is agave nectar. Sweeteners in general are not good for you but especially if you are trying to loose weight.
Because some are healthier than others it's important for you to regard them individually rather than as a group. If you are using these bars on a regular basis make sure you know what's really in the ingredients on the label. Don't let advertising hype guide you, instead do your own due diligence.
