Mother’s Recipe Fried Idlis


Ingredients :
1 cup semolina(sooji),
1/2 cup curd,1 tsp eno powder,
1 onion finely chopped,
1 capsicum finely chopped,
1 grated carrot,
1/2 cup grated cabbage,
2-3 green chillies,
curry leaves,
tomato ketchup,
mustard seeds,
black pepper and salt to taste.

Method:
1.Take a bowl and add semolina,curd,eno and salt.Add some water.Make a smooth atter
2.Rest a batter for sometime.Now take an idli stand and apply some oil on it
3.Now pour the batter in the stand and steam it in the pressure cooker for 15-20 mins.
4.Cool the idlis and then cut them into 2 halves.
5.Take a wok.Add some oil in it.
6.Then add mustard seeds and curry leaves.
7.Now add all the vegetables into it and stir for 4-5 mins.
8.Add salt and black pepper.Then add idlis into it.
9.Add tomato ketchup and stir for 2-3 mins.
10. Serve the fried idlis with coriander chutney.
